Biological procedures often rely on an accurate count of bacterial colonies and cells.

Colony counters are used to estimate a liquid culture’s density of microorganisms by counting individual colonies on an agar plate, slide, mini gel, or Petri dish.

Features :

• Colony counter grid is illuminated with fluorescent lamp for uniform cool-light illumination and is provided with a magnifying glass for ease of viewing.
• Special pen type probe allows marking on Petri dish with an audio beep and counting simultaneously.

Fume hood can reduce or eliminate exposure to volatile liquids, dusts, and mists

The fume hood is often the primary control device for protecting laboratory workers when working with flammable and/or toxic chemicals. Hoods protect workers by: Containing vapors, dusts, gases, and fumes generated within the hood, and removing them as air flows into the hood and then out via the laboratory exhaust system.

Horizontal LAF : Horizontal Laminar Flow Cabinets receive their name due to the direction of air flow which comes from above but then changes direction and is processed across the work in a horizontal direction. The constant flow of filtered air provides material and product protection.

 

Vertical LAF : Vertical Laminar Flow Cabinets function equally well as horizontal Laminar Flow Cabinets with the laminar air directed vertically downwards onto the working area. The air can leave the working area via holes in the base. Vertical flow cabinets can provide greater operator protection.
